Welcome to Wnderful Outdoors
Hello, my name is Kyle Huender, and welcome to Wnderful Outdoors.
It could be wander. It could be wonder. It could be wonderful. The thing is, it’s a little bit of all three.
Wnderful Outdoors started with a simple idea: to create a brand that celebrates the outdoors, our national parks, and the feeling that comes from getting out there and experiencing these incredible places for yourself.
I wanted to make the kinds of things that I would actually want to wear, collect, display, and bring along on an adventure—things I appreciated but couldn’t quite find anywhere else.
And it all started with a coin.
A Different Kind of National Park Collectible
There are already plenty of ways to remember a trip to a national park. You can pick up a pin, a sticker, a poster, a medallion, or any number of souvenirs.
But I wanted something that felt a little more substantial.
Think about finishing a marathon, a half marathon, or even your first 5K. At the finish line, someone puts a medal around your neck. It’s a physical reminder that you went somewhere, did something, and accomplished something meaningful.
I started wondering: why couldn't visiting a national park have something that created that same feeling?
That became the idea behind the Wnderful National Park Collection Coins.
Each coin is meant to serve as a lasting reminder of a place you've experienced. Something you can bring home, keep forever, and look back on years later as a reminder that you were there.
Not just another souvenir, but a token of the adventure itself.
Creating Something Worth Keeping
From the beginning, I knew I didn't want to make a cheap novelty coin.
If these were going to represent some of the most spectacular places in the country, I wanted the product itself to feel worthy of that.
Each Wnderful coin is designed to feel substantial and collectible. It comes with a protective case and its own display stand, so you can keep it protected or put it somewhere you'll actually see it.
I cared about the packaging, too. If you're someone who appreciates great packaging, you can keep and display the whole thing. If you're not, that's okay too—the packaging is recyclable.
The goal was to create an experience that felt special from the moment you opened it.
Giving Back to the Places That Inspire Us
Just as important to me was finding a way for Wnderful to give something back.
Our national parks belong to all of us, and preserving them for future generations is a huge part of what makes this project meaningful.
That's why I've committed at least 10% of proceeds from these coins to supporting national parks, the National Park Foundation, and similar organizations and causes.
The more this collection grows, the more I hope its impact can grow along with it.
The First Five Parks
I'm incredibly proud to launch Wnderful Outdoors with our first five National Park Collection Coins:
-
Zion National Park
-
Grand Canyon National Park
-
Great Smoky Mountains National Park
-
Yellowstone National Park
-
Rocky Mountain National Park
You can collect them individually or get the complete collection of all five.
But this is only the beginning.
There are 63 national parks in the United States, which means we have a long way to go—and that's exactly what makes this so exciting.
If there's a park you want to see next, use the link below to request it. I'll be using those requests to help prioritize which parks join the collection next.
More Wnderful Things Are Coming
The coins may be where Wnderful Outdoors begins, but they're not where it ends.
I'm also working on outdoor-focused apparel, hats, gear, and other products designed around the same philosophy: make things that look great, feel great, and actually make sense for people who spend time outside.
Not just another heavy T-shirt with a logo printed on it.
Things you'll genuinely want to wear and use on the trail, around a campsite, on a road trip, or wherever your next adventure takes you.
If you haven't already, sign up for the Wnderful Outdoors newsletter to follow along as new parks, products, and ideas are released.
Most importantly, thank you for being here.
Thank you for supporting Wnderful Outdoors, for supporting our national parks, and for continuing to wander, wonder, and experience everything that's out there.
Stay Wnderful.
